Hi everyone! Hope you’re all having a great day!
So today I thought I’d try something a little different and take you through my daily make up routine. I’m going to try and not be too brand specific as everyone has different products that work for them.
I always match my make up to my outfit, so todays theme was peach!
For a day-to-day look I always try and be as natural as possible, but mainly because it’s the morning and I don’t have the time…
So to begin, I put on a HUGE amount of moisturiser…you can never have enough, and it sets a great base for your make-up. I then use a tiny bit of primer on my cheeks and off we go!!
So because we’re going for a more natural look today, I used my beauty blender and a small amount of foundation, followed by a tiny bit of concealer under my eyes. Don’t forget to set the face with some powder to keep it all intact. After that I like to use a wee bit of bronzer to warm up my face (as I’m ghastly pale without any). Then all you need is a tiny bit of an orange based blusher, a touch of gold highlight and the face is done!
On to eyes… Use a shadow just slightly more brown/orange than your skin as a base. You can then warm this up with a darker peach tone in the crease… and that’s it! Nothing too fancy! I like to add a tiny bit of shimmer on the middle of my lid and in the corner of my eye.
In case you hadn’t noticed, I LOVE winged eyeliner and wear it nearly every day. I took some time to learn the tricks but I think I’ve finally got the hang of it. (Let me know in the comments below if you would like to hear my tips and tricks on liquid eyeliner in another post?) Then add lashings of mascara and we’re finished the eyes!
Today I went for a peach lip, NYX lip lingerie in ‘Ruffle Trim’ which is one of my favourite lip brands to wear if you are looking for a long term lippie.
Then I added a few sprays of NYX Dewy Setting Spray to seal everything in and…
I’ve got to say I love this look and think it is perfect for a natural glowing finish.
Let me know what you think in the comments below! I love hearing from you!
Thanks for reading, hope this has been helpful!
