Buy It OR Bin It?
Hi everyone! Today I’m reviewing Makeup Revolutions Blush Goddess Palette! I was instantly drawn to this as it offers such a good range of blushes and highlighters in the same pan, meaning I would only have to grab one product. And this palette is so cheap at only £6!!!
On its website it is described as follows:
“Introducing our stunning blush and highlight palette, Blush Goddess! 4 beautiful highlighter shades, ranging in intensity from natural sheen to intense illumination. 4 blushes from pink to peach, a great all in one palette for every day blush and highlight. Highly pigmented, smooth and blendable shades. Sweep highlight shades along cheekbones and an upward stroke of blush shades starting from the apples of the cheeks”
Packaging is beautiful, I can even forgive that it doesn’t have a mirror, but I do like the clear top so I can see the product in all it’s beautiful glory!
I have to admit, when I swatched this product on my arm I was slightly concerned…as you can see below. They aren’t the most pigmented blushes I’ve ever used but I did like the texture. When I tried to swatch the highlighters, the only one that really showed up was the pink shimmer…which I LOVE and wear most days.
Although the highlighters won’t give you the blinding glow most of us are so desperate for, it can make for a beautiful inner corner highlight. I’ve also found myself using the browner shades as a eyeshadow.
Overall I do this palette was a good investment. It makes make up application as quick and easy as possible…however it definitely is not the most pigmented. It is easy to build though, and I’m not such a huge fan of super over done cheeks anyway so I don’t mind! I’ve found myself using this much more than I thought it would.
And at £6…how could you really go wrong.
You can buy the Makeup Revolution palette here from Superdrug.
