NYX Liquid Swede: Stone Fox

As a lipstick addict, when I saw this unusual shade I just had to have it in my collection. I’ve actually had this lipstick for a few months now, but you really need to find the right occasion to wear it… (in this case I was heading into town to a ‘cool’ bar haha)

NYX describes the Liquid Swede’s as:

‘Doll up your lips in plush and vibrant color! NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick glides on and sets into a striking matte finish. Velvety soft and waterproof, this long-lasting lippie creates a positively polished look with every swipe.’

I have to admit, I am quite in love with this and it became a talking point for most of the evening!! My first warning would be that this is not a straight up grey – it almost has a blue undertone, which is probably what makes it so unique.

The formula of these lipsticks are honestly one of my favourites in the drugstore at the moment. They can do no wrong. Long lasting, non-drying and the pigmentation is great. (In the photos that it just from one coat!)…and at only £6.50, we can rejoice!

Verdict:

  • Ease of application: 5/5
  • Pigmentation: 5/5
  • Texture: 5/5
  • Longevity: 4/5
  • Ease of removal: 4/5
  • Cost: 5/5

Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone who is into trying new things or anyone trying to get outside their comfort zone. You will definitely stand out from the crowd in this lipstick, but for all the right reasons.

Anyone want to see a tutorial of this look? Let me know! 🙂

You can buy it here on the Boots website for £6.50 in the UK.

Let me know what you think in the comments below! I love hearing from you!

Thanks for reading, hope this has been helpful!
